ADULT BIBLE CLASSES FOR THE WINTER QUARTER
New adult Bible classes for the winter quarter will begin on Wednesday, December 3 and Sunday, December 7.
Worship Service Times
Sunday: Bible Study 9:30 am, Worship 10:25 am and 5:00 pm
Wednesday: Worship 7:00 pm
|The H.O.O.P.L.A. Banquet has been moved to next Sunday, November 23 following morning worship. We will be honoring our senior Christians for their example and their Christian service to others. The Banquet is hosted by the Westside Active Youth. All senior Christians are invited to stay for this special event next Sunday. A sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board.|

Abby Albrecht, Heather Lane. Jerry Richardson was dismissed from Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Center South on Wednesday and is now at home. Emma Briscoe is home; however, PLEASE NO VISITORS at this time.
Pictures for the picture board will be taken this morning immediately following services for new members and for those members needing to update their pictures. The picture room is located in the north hallway off of the foyer.
This Wednesday, November 19 the young boys will lead our combined devotional. Parents, begin preparing your boys to lead a song, lead a prayer, or read a scripture. See Brett if you have any questions.
Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway
The Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway is this Friday between 1:00 and 6:00 p.m. There is a sign-up sheet posted on the bulletin board for anyone who would like to help hand out baskets from the building. We will be handing out 100 baskets this year.
Attention 5th Graders and Parents:
We will be having a holiday card-making event Saturday morning, November 22. All 5th graders and their parents are invited to meet in the small kitchen from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. for this activity. If you have any questions, please see Julie Porter or Janet Snethen.
International Ministry Dinner
The International Ministry will host the Chinese Thanksgiving Dinner on Saturday, November 22 at 5:30 p.m. Dr. Curtis Mullins will be speaking on Gift from the Great Physician—Good Health for Body and Spirit. We need help watching the children in the playroom during the lecture session. If you are interested in helping, please call Chung Kao at 579-9244 or send an email message to Kao@physics.ou.edu.
The combined Thanksgiving devotional will be on Wednesday, November 26 in the auditorium. No classes will meet during this devotional.
Lost and Found
If you are missing any items such as jewelry, Bibles, children`s books, or items of clothing, please check the lost and found baskets located in the overflow area and in the church office. Many items have recently been turned in and are accumulating.

There will not be a student luncheon today.
This Tuesday night will be our last Tuesday Night Devotional before Thanksgiving Break. We will not have a devotional on the night of November 25.
SKI TRIP – Remember to get your deposit to me if you are signed up. We have made reservations for you, so please commit to going on this trip if you are signed up. It is going to be a good one! The dates are January 5-9, 2015.
Our Sooner Servants Christmas Party has been scheduled for Friday, December 5 at the home of Curtis and Karen Mullins.
Our last Adopt-A-Student Night will be November 23. We hope that you and your families are making an effort to reach out and build one another up. Thanks for your help in making this a great ministry.
The semester is drawing to a close. We`ve had a great one so far. Let`s finish it strong! We are so thankful for all of you and for the great examples that you are setting on the campus of OU and here at Westside.

WESTSIDE ACTIVE YOUTH
Many thanks to the Johnson family for being outstanding hosts with our youth devotional last Sunday! We appreciate you! Thanks also to our teens for their participation and to Tracey Tally for driving the extra van.
The annual H.O.O.P.L.A. Banquet has been rescheduled for next Sunday, November 23, in the multipurpose room immediately following morning worship! Remember we need all our teens to help serve and sing for this event. Be sure to make your way back to the multipurpose room as quick as possible after the closing prayer next Sunday morning, in order to welcome our guests.
Tomorrow is Washington Lunch. Look for me in the new section of the café when the lunch bell rings. Let`s do lunch!
Registration forms are now available for the Winter Quest Retreat at Pettijohn Springs Christian Camp. The retreat is scheduled for January 16-18. However the deadline to register is December 21. Be sure to see me for a registration form or if you have any questions regarding this event.
The first of our three Westside Teen Lectures will be November 23. Jacob Hale and Josh L`Hommedieu will be our speakers for this event. Thorin Turner and Riley McKnight will speak on November 30. Gage Johnson and Trevor Talley will speak on December 14.
